A Tranquil Oasis! I'm Already Booking My Next Visit ​I recently had the immense pleasure of visiting Sunsetone Spa, and I am still absolutely ecstatic about the entire experience. It was, without a doubt, the most beautiful and great spa environment I have ever encountered. From the moment I stepped inside, the atmosphere shifted to one of pure, luxurious tranquility. ​The interior design is simply breathtaking—it’s a true oasis of calm. The entire spa had ambient, calming music. Every corner was meticulously curated, making the entire facility feel less like a business and more like a high-end, personal retreat. It’s impossible not to feel instantly relaxed and completely pampered in such a gorgeous setting. ​The amenities offered were exceptional and truly elevated the experience. I was greeted with most comfortable robes and slippers imaginable. The relaxation lounge was stocked with fresh herbal teas, fruit-infused water, and light snacks, allowing me to decompress fully before and after my treatment. The attention to detail from the staff, who were intuitive and professional, was the cherry on top. ​I am already counting down the days until my next appointment. This wasn't just a spa visit; it was a transformative self-care retreat. If you are looking for a place where beauty, luxury, and outstanding service converge, look no further. I can't recommend Sunsetone Spa highly enough!

I just had one of the best spa experiences I’ve had in a very long time, and I have to pour my gratitude for Fabiola back into the world. I booked a 90-minute treatment hoping to unlock the knot in my shoulder that has been haunting me for more than six weeks… and somehow, magically, she found it and has me on the mend. From the moment I arrived, the entire experience felt thoughtful and restorative. The tea service was lovely, the staff were warm and welcoming, and the relaxation spaces were beautiful. I especially loved the zero-gravity grounding chairs — I could have stayed in those all afternoon. I kind of did. The steam, sauna, and hot tub were the perfect way to continue unwinding after the treatment. But Fabiola truly made the experience exceptional. She has that rare combination of intuition, skill, and care that makes you feel completely at ease while also delivering exactly the kind of therapeutic work your body needs. You can tell she genuinely cares about what she does. I left feeling relaxed, reset, and incredibly grateful. If you’re visiting the spa, do yourself a favor and request Fabiola. Loved the concept but the execution was missed. Steam room is amazing, salt room/cube was good, sauna was non working. Staff is very helpful and gave me a secondary day pass for the sauna not working. Showers, whirlpool and pools are all great but the non working sauna was pretty disappointing. It is not completely co-Ed. Ordered a beer at the pool and attendant stated bar was to busy and it would take 20 min more, after already waiting 15 min. Overall ok, but expected more from a 5 star Forbes travel guide.

A HUGE shoutout to the amazing massage therapist, KAYLA! She is extraordinary! My son and I are regular visitors to the hotel from Los Angeles. My son comes to The Sunstone Spa specifically to have the Blended Fusion Massage that Kayla does SO expertly. Kayla is a genius in restorative massages for professional musicians needing deep relief and recovery, like him. Kayla is absolutely fabulous for the Arnica Deep Tissue massage, as well, as others. Kayla is an A++ at The Sunstone Spa, Rancho Mirage !

I am a huge fan of this spa... it is clean and the staff are wonderful. My husband did have an issue with the male locker room guy (ponytail) he said he was super rude. He pointed him out later and you can tell this guy hates his job. The only downside is the spa is not set up for couples as the saunas, hot tub and relaxation lounges are separated by gender. I would recommend this spa for a girls day vs for couples.
